I said, “sure, what the heck!” She starts talking about a tall man, buzz cut, life of the party. He sounded awesome to me and for a very split second I actually thought of a man who had just started working at my company but I quickly dismissed him because I only met him once and knew he had a girlfriend so I didn’t think anything of him. Well, two weeks later I’m at a work happy hour and the guy from the office who I briefly thought fit the description admits to me he likes me. I was completely blown away! Had zero idea of that. Of course I didn’t take her advice and later deeply regretted it because she was right. He broke my heart and never committed to me. I’ve since talked to her probably 4-5 times and she is sooo gifted.
