CP Rates

 I was wondering if the new psychic choose their starting rate or do they get assigned one base on their "interview reading"? Also how do get get rate promoted Ex: from being $4/minutes to $8.50/minutes? Some readers starting  dates are decades ago yet they are still $4,$5,$6.5 while some more recent readers are already $7.50 to premium psychics????Do they choose to be promoted or? Can they decline a rate promotion?

I don't have an account on CP, but on Keen, readers pay themselves to have their sites promoted and can raise/lower their prices at their discretion. Some readers aren't in it for the money and keep their prices the same in order to attract/retain customers, but this can also be said for the higher priced readers, although, clearly they are in it for the money.

There are psychics that are very popular and on a lot (like dominique whos on several hours a day and non stop reading full queues all the time) and yet still not premiere psychic.

I think either CP decides themselves who gets a raise or psychics can indeed decline rate promotion (which I appreciate).

I was told by 2 psychics on CP in the last 2 years that they declined a rate increase for themselves so they stayed "affordable". Haven't gotten anyone to explain the rate structure yet. One said it was popularity but I don't see that.
I haven't really been able to figure out a rhyme or reason to it all.

Seems like in the case of May they poached her from a popular UK site, so they had to offer her more money.  I've never noticed a new reader start off at more than $4 a minute.

I have seen relatively newer readers priced at well above the 4 dollar mark.

This made me laugh because when my POI told me he had poor sex with someone else two weeks ago I just go "Yikes" and he's foreign so he just goes: what's that mean?? Anyways... TGIF!
