Title: Exposing FAKES on KEEN - read this and save yourself some serious $$$
Post by: TulipsAndSunflowers on June 16, 2021, 10:57:21 PM
Soooo....

I am sure that most of us on here will know that the fakes on Keen are plentiful and will usually stay away from profiles that appear suspicious. If there is something I hate in this world, it's SHADY people, scammers, fakes, thieves... you name it.  I am sure we have all noticed suspicious photos on some of the advisors' pages that don't appear genuine. I have managed to go through quite a lot of profiles. Surprisingly, a lot of the profiles I checked appear genuine, HOWEVER there are LOTS that are NOT and I want everyone to be able to see this before spending $$$ on those fakes, especially those who are new to readings and will most likely be after the 'recommended' and 'highest rated' advisors.

I don't think that purchasing photos online and using them as profile pics on advisors' profiles goes necessarily against Keen's policy (will see if I can look into this), but they are essentially impersonating the people in the photos, pretending to be someone they are not and the callers believe that they are speaking to the individual who is in the photo, which bugs me a lot.

I will also see what can be done about this - if anything. Surely, Keen are aware of the fakes, but they are bringing in some serious money so why would Keen bother removing these 'advisors' from their website?

Anyhow, without further venting, please check some of the shady creatures' profiles AND the websites the photos have been stolen (or purchased, who knows) from here and feel free to share your thoughts. I am only sharing a few today as it is quite time consuming and I have a few more things to do, but happy to continue if anyone would like me to share more of what I'be found?

1. Number one goes to the biggest scammer on Keen: Ron Knows What He is Thinking .... or should I say Brad Knows What He Is Thinking? Or perhaps he prefers to be called Eye of Mark or Clairvoyant Nicky Power? I suspect that these four are ONE PERSON (there are likely to be more profiles managed by this individual). Not only are the names suspicious, but when this dude went to steal other people's photos, he didn't even bother going on multiple websites and stole 'Brad's' and 'Mark's' pictures from the same website. Check this out:

Eye of Mark's [/u]photo: https://scontent-lhr8-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.6435-9/53839957_1200656960108161_503579619761324032_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-3&_nc_sid=8bfeb9&_nc_ohc=g4uo2muuGD4AX9uXzRr&_nc_ht=scontent-lhr8-1.xx&oh=fd8fa051b2d6f4066e8d6d3d4678a465&oe=60CE8631

Ron Knows What He is Thinking

This is crazy. Whats even crazier is all of their great reviews and the number of readings they've done. Its kinda sad actually! I can't believe they get away with it. There should be a way to report profiles.

Amazing! Thank you so much for this list?  How on earth did you find these all?

Guys... easy peasy - good old Google Images ;)
for those of you who don't know - you can download a photo and then upload it onto Google and search for websites that include the exact (or similar) photographs.   :)

And as you said - it is the amount of reviews they are getting and the number of readings they have done - I bet a huge chunk of negative reviews has been removed by Keen anyway.... it is not OK to be charging such huge amount of money while using a fake name and a photograph from some hairdresser's website. Dodgy as hell. I do own reading cards and have read with psychics ever since I was like 13 years old, but even when I signed up on Keen, I was so overwhelmed and went to the Recommended section and looked for decent reviews , because I naively believed that it meant that these people were GOOD. Lol. I even ended up reading with some freak who called himself a 'prophet' something, he was awful and even though I only paid like £15 or £20 for the reading, I still regret wasting the money on that a*sh***.

This whole thing (using fake photos) would definitely be seen as false advertising under the UK laws but I have no clue about US laws... have lots of screenshots of the Keen profiles of the fakes .. please take them too if you can ... whenever I get some time to spare, I will be checking what can be done ;) ...

I will also post more fakes on here over the weekend. I wonder if any one of them gets to see this and alerts the rest so they get a chance to change their profiles? Saying it once more - got LOTS of screenshots, baby!  :P

It is perfectly okay to use a picture that is in a public domain - not illegal in the US.  I wouldn't put to much energy into this - just find a psychic that works for you.  Remember not all psychics work for everyone.  I have three that I use, and love them, but they may not connect with you like they do with me.  I think the majority of us who have been reading with psychics for a long time, know that the pictures aren't real.

That doesn’t mean that what they’re doing is moral. And as I mentioned above, there are people who will believe that these are the people who are behind the screen and that’s just not cool.... particularly not for a ‘reader’ charging $50 a minute. This is not about who works for whom.

When I was binging I didn’t care what the advisor looked like. I didn’t read based on looks but I can understand how a picture would be misleading as being welcoming. It’s also a public domain so I could see why they would want to protect their privacy to avoid psychos and dramatic clients. It’s funny how advisors are always here to defend themselves but they miss these kinds of threads that expose their peers of being fake

Someone charging "$50 a minute" is not a real psychic.  They are preying on the desperate. That's a no-brainer.  The obvious doesn't need "exposing".

Many people don't use their real photo or use a very old one because there are crazy people out there.  Reverse searches are popular.  Who wants someone showing up on your doorstep.  There are unbalanced people here, would you want them showing up at your house?  If a see a photo of Ganesh, I don't think "oh wow, I'm talking to a Hindu God!", I think I'm talking to a person who is using that photo.

Using a stock photo can also help the phone lines from finding out about their personal site because a lot of lines prohibit this.

You're putting an awful lot of energy into "exposing" the obvious.

Best psychics I have ever read with wouldnt dare put their photo online, they always use fakes.
Ive also met quite a few that are too SHY to put them up. This means literally nothing.

Then instead of using photos of strangers, use one of a mountain or a flower or whatever. Simple.

I don’t like this and there are others who don’t either. If you don’t mind paying someone with a fake photo hundreds of dollars for just a few minutes of talking to them, then that’s fine, it’s your money and you can spend it on whatever you like. Same goes for my energy. I shall use it on whatever I desire. If you don’t like the post, nobody is forcing you to comment.

I said nothing against readers who use photos of their pets or nature etc etc- that’s different and if you don’t get it, then there’s no point in discussing this any further.

Thank you.  ;)
