Got an email today for $10 free on keen, starting their holiday promotion. When you click on the link it will have you sign in and take you to a page where it prompts you to add money. You don't have to add money for today's $10. Just click the logo to take you to your home page. The $10 will be in your account already.

Not everyone has gotten it. But I forwarded the email to a friend of mine that has an account that's she's used once or twice and it worked for her.

No I remember back in June sometime, or whenever the last round of bonus offers came out we discussed it on here, and it seems that they don't send them out to everyone. I think they probably have a threshold of how frequently a person calls on their account for whether or not they get the offer. I'm sure they have someone that actually crunches the numbers on the cost efficiency of it.

Edited: Okay. That was weird. The e-mail said the offer was only good for one day. I clicked the link anyway and got an error page so I thought it didn't work. But just now I checked my account and the $10 ended up in my account.

Double check your e-mail addresses and spam. It's a nice gesture on the part of Keen.

No, its actually advertising. Most people that spend the bonus end up spending much more than $10 to speak with someone. It might even incite a week long binge for some people.

Today's offer was Add $10 get $15. From what I recall, I think last year on the last day it was Add $5 get $20. But I don't think there was an outright free $10 last year like there was this year.
