I haven't written here in a while.
I am doing OK.
I feel a bit more calmer with the whole POI situation. Not fully there yet bc I still have anxiety and I miss him.
Anyways, to anyone that this may help with, some things I have been doing to calm my anxiety and focus on other important aspects of my life that need fixing (health and career):
- Journalling
- Exercising
- Prayer (not perfect but making it a part of everyday)
- Therapy (I started therapy to curb back on any emotional spending)
- Living? Saw a few more people than I normally do
There's still a lot of work I need to do to get completely over POI and back into dating - it is tough being emotionally attached to someone so strongly that even when they're not around I wish they were with me. Someone from this site (I will keep the name private) said it best, "prayers will help you where physics cannot". And that has been my mantra.
Also, guys, not a single reader got timing right...he will commit by June....July...Aug...Sept...Oct...next year '25 (maybe) ...what??? lol.
Just kind of kicked me in the ass a bit to rely on a higher power and also to fix my immediate life.
Anyways, hope this helps anyone struggling
