So it's top up time, and finally it was a full read. Yippee!
First off...no towers to be seen. Thank the stars above. It appears the worst is over.
Shadow card - FLIRTATION! I wish I knew what actual card that was, but woohoo!
Theme - me looking to the long term, I'm done with what's happening tomorrow and I'm thinking more about my long term future. As in will this making me happy next year? In the next 5 years? 10 years?
Lot of positive progression. I've learned lessons. I won't be fooled or taken advantage of again.
Career - boss who took my job - it wasn't personal, it was opportunistic. She would have done the same thing to anyone. She's not vindictive, she just doesn't let emotions get in the way of her goals. She either isn't qualified or doesn't want this job she swiped up from under me and will continue to move on (confirmed, she's already applied to another position and she hasn't been in the job a month yet). New opportunities for me are coming and it will be for long term satisfaction. Surprisingly (to me anyway), it won't be about the money (although I will get better pay), it will be about long term happiness. First prediction is coming soon (beginning of new year) where I will get an evaluation and my hard work will be acknowledged. I will see some knew opportunities and I have learned not to tell anyone what my plans are until it's in the bag. I will become a little opportunistic myself, but I won't hurt anyone in the process like was done to me. That will happen over the course of next year. It won't be within the group I am with now. It could be the original job that I almost had since the boss will be moving on from that job.
Romantic - Yona said that my Knight of Wands will be coming back with an explanation/apology. I told her (wink wink) that I have no Knight of Wands. In fact, I am as single as it gets...2+ years of single. She said, well, this has to be someone you know or they wouldn't be apologizing. Regardless, she did get into details that convinced me that it is the ex. She said he left because of family issues (yup). She said not only was there family problems, but he has a personal problem that he is hiding (yup drinking). She asked if that makes sense and I said that my ex from a few years ago left because of family issues (or so I think anyway) and that he does drink a little. She laughed and said, well it's more like a lot. She said he hides it well because he's not a sloppy drunk. His tolerance is very high. This is so true. The man can drink like a fish and doesn't slur, stagger, stumble or get a hangover. Ever. Anywho, she said he will come in and apologize and explain what happened. She saw a partnership, but was very specific in saying it was an intimate emotional connection, but no necessarily "romantic". He will want the friendship, which I will reciprocate, but I will draw the line and not go back to where we left off. She said I will want it, but I won't let him know that at all. It will have to be a brand new start. Starting from a platonic friendship. He will later begin to flirt. I will continue to push back. She doesn't see much beyond this. She said it will be my decision what will happen and anything else she tells me will be her opinion and not what she actually sees. What she does see is that I won't allow the same nonsense. He will have to approach this whole thing as if we just met and have a complete start over with boundaries or I will walk away. But it is completely my choice.
She also said that there is a new opportunity for romance next year and again, it will be my choice. She said that the long term outlook attitude I have about my career will also carry over into my love life. Everything I do romantically and professionally will be about "how will I feel about his in 5 years?" and "can I see myself in this situation or with this person in 5 years?"
Yona was extremely happy about my shift in attitude and told me that she was so glad that she didn't have to lecture me. LOL! She said to keep on doing what I'm doing cause it's working!
There were predictions that didn't make much sense to me, so I'll have to re-listen to the recording and see if there is more to add to this.
