Are spells good or bad?

Are they a scam because they don't work?
Is it bad at all to pay someone to do a spell? Like I wonder if it's bad karma. If it is, I am screwed because I tried a few times and they were scams and they asked me for more money and that's when I didn't stopped the communication.
But I am even wondering if they do anything at all, or they just lie about everything.
I've had some tell me how they are working through the night and they are working hard and can't talk for a few days. Is it all BS? Probably...

I didn't do any bad spells. It was all to bring positivity and remove negativity. But none of it worked so I don't know if anything was done or if it was all a lie. Obviously I can't tell.
I think bad karma comes if you do bad things in real life, like if you hurt people or take advantage of people, or steal, etc, but not through spells, unless you intend to do black magic spells.
Do you have evidence of someone doing spells and then being hurt by them? I am sort of interested in this, but I don't know if I believe it 100%.

How do you know your spell didn't work? They work in mysterious ways. I say, do all the spells you want, it's just manifesting. The stigma surrounding witchcraft stems from sexism, it would be lovely if people would stop thinking it's bad. It's manifesting and prayer.

Yup. As long as you’re not doing any negative spells or trying to impede purposely on another’s free will, it’s the same thing as manifesting. It will only work if it’s what you both are desiring. It just clears away blocks.
