Connecting with a psychic

I think that most of us agree that just because a psychic is accurate for me, they may be totally off for you.
Most of us here have our favorites, and yet have  been  disappointed by other peoples favorites.
Does anyone have any theories as to why a reader would work for some but not for  others?

I feel it is the luck of the draw or lucky guesses.  I honestly do not feel there is ANY psychic that is totally right, but some are close and that is all we can ask for.  I think it is a numbers game, or like in the thread about Kat Avino she tells everyone NO, lol...the safe bet is that ex's don't come back, jobs will always change, and moves are destined to happen.

True , KTH. Yet there are psychics like Carmencam who you had a reading with. She seemed like OMG AMAZING!!  I have not had a reading in a long time, but I was honestly considering calling her  because of how many people agreed with you about how accurate she was with them. She seemed to get very small details correct and her predictions appear to pan out.  Then, out of the blue , there are those that claim she was totally off. They say she had nothing right.  Why would she be so accurate with some and so totally off with others?  This confuses me.

I called regarding legal issues and she brought up the fact that she saw the divorce in progress, and gave outcomes.  I asked "what do you see regarding a criminal legal matter"  I always asked this way to see what they would get, there is no way she could have know about my divorce by that question.

I never called her back because there was no reason to, so it wasn't about following up or her milking me for money.

Just because she worked for me and a few others does NOT mean that I am endorsing her, I am simply giving credit where credit is due.

Yes KTH,  You were very clear about not endorsing her.  You said she was accurate for you but may not be for others.
That is why I am raising this question.  It's not about camercam  .  She is just an example of how a random psychic can be brilliant for one person and  completely inaccurate for another.  Is it something in the psychic , us, or a combination of both that results in such uneven results?

I think it's a little of everything.  Consider this... can we really expect these readers to connect with every single person who calls them??  I often wonder about the readers who take calls all day long. How can they connect with one client, hang up, and then immediately connect with the next client who calls?  I just don't think it can be possible or expected.  Not everyone will connect.  Not every reader will be able to read the energy of the caller.  It just can't happen. 

I know so many people who have said Queen of Cups18 was way off for them, for example.  While she reads cards, Anne has been able to accurately tell me the age of a person, their marital status, the number of kids they have, AND has made accurate predictions... some predictions have been completely off the wall and not easily made by guessing.  Yet this same woman has been WAY off for others.  How is that possible?  Well, maybe because she connects well with my energy but not necessarily with someone else's.  I don't really know, but I can't expect every "good" reader to connect with me.  I wish it were the case, but it's just not.  People on here love Northstar Julie, and she was 100% wrong for me when I read with her.  Does that mean she's not gifted?  Not necessarily.  Now there are others who are just completely wrong and are selling fairytales.  That's something else completely.  Those people are fakes and as KTH has said time and time again, they will get their karma for spreading false hope.

I look at reading like going to the casino, some win and some don't.  I don't think there is any scientific data to back any of this up, it is just information that will either apply or not.

i don't know if it's always US that is the problem with the connection. kind of to Syn's point.. i'm sure THEY have to be in the right frame of mind to be connecting to others. being on the phone all day long taking calls at any moment.. how can someone be "tapped in" at every moment? it seems like reading takes so much energy. there's just now way you be "on" non-stop or even every day.

I agree that it is impossible for a reader to connect with everyone and even the best of them have their bad days.  I have read with some of the highly touted readers here and while I do think they're gifted, I'm not so sure about their takes and they've been dead wrong too.  (keeping in mind they weren't positive and some of the stuff sounded like pop psychology and yeah, perhaps I didn't want to hear what they had to say)
My pet peeve are readers who make judgments or give a superficial take on a scenario that would make common sense and it's not necessarily accurate for that situation.

I think it's best to have a select few readers whom you trust and not read with them too often. I find that if you do, their messages can get pretty weird and outlandish, even contradictory.

I agree. And I also think that getting readings once or twice a year is much better than getting frequent readings. Now of course I don't follow my own advice... the online websites make it so easy to get readings often
