Same here- she started off with holding pattern and then spoke about a roller coaster. Maybe that's the way she connects.. what she said later made sense in regards to my relationships. She did also mention a resolution towards the end of spring beginning of summer.. I recorded the call so I have all the details. I feel somewhat unsettled now - It will push me to start calling other readers again for validations. - this spirals out of control. Again.

i fear that my post may have been a bit too 1-sided. it's true that joeana DID start the call with the "holding pattern" thing. however, she also did make some specific predictions. another thing she said is she sees me taking a long-distance trip. she specifically said to Europe. and this is actually something i'm in the middle of planning.

i wrote down her predictions, so i will certainly keep tabs on stuff. i just want to be realistic about what people are telling me/us. i've been using psychics too long to continue to fall for gimmicks and nonsense. spent too much money. i know we all just want to find someone we can trust and who is accurate. so, having said that - she seemed to give me generic lead-in questions to maybe get things rolling, but i can't leave out some very specific stuff she said that actually does pertain to me.

While I did receive validations from Joeana that are specific and I had not shared with anyone else, it concerns me that my call started with the "roller coaster/holding pattern" spiel, a relationship was described as being "karmic", I was given positive predictions for the April/May timeframe for 2 different issues, and I was told that there would be a positive shift this year.  It seems like many of us received the same type of predictions.  This is disheartening.  I was actually really impressed with Joeana and that's something that rarely happens to me anymore.

I will say that I consider her to be wrong on a prediction already, as she stated that I would see IMMEDIATE improvement with the individual she read about.  Once she stopped speaking, I did get to ask her if there would be a period of silence (I said something that caused him to retreat and when I made this call we had already stopped speaking for a couple of days, but I did not reveal this to Joeana).  She said there would NOT be an extended period of silence, and he would come forward romantically immediately.  While I know 2 weeks is not all that long for some of you who have been waiting over an extended period of time for contact, but I have not heard from this person in that long, and this is awhile for us, since I am used to seeing him and/or communicating with him on a daily basis.  We have never gone this long without speaking, and at this point I don't think this is a situation where time is relative.  She said there would not be a period of silence and there would be immediate improvements, neither of which has been correct.

Realistically, I think this reader does have a gift in that she does pick up details (many accurate ones were given in my reading), but it looks like she just fills in the holes with what we want to hear, or some sort of scripted nonsense.  Let's hope I'm wrong and we just all are going to see improvements within the same timeframes...

Oh no! And this is why I don't think this forum is actually helpful to anybody. It feeds the addiction instead of treating it. Someone suddenly raves about a 'new' psychic. Many start calling her/him. Then someone starts having doubts about her/him. Then a new cycle begins. (This is why I never posted and rated/reviewed whom I read with, except for a few comments). Only living our own life will give us 'validations'. WE are our own future, what we build, what we let go, what we look forward. Our future is what we create now, in the present. Waiting for outcomes to happen does not create anything, it's passive. Be active, be your own creator. Find a good therapist/counsellor/life coach for face-to-face sessions that could help you working on your present, creating a solid, positive, active present. From that present, then you can move forward to a fruitful future.

Read this forum for 'entertainment purposes only'. Call psychics for 'entertainment purposes only', as if you were going to a show. How many times do you go to shows, to the theater? That's how often you should call psychics. How much do you spend on a show? That's how much you should spend on psychics. So, I'd say $30-50 every 3-4 months. Instead of going to a show, you call a psychic. Or even better, find a nice musical, buy a ticket, put on your best dress, and go to the theater. You'll be equally fed with fairy tales. And you may never know who's going to sit next to you. He could be your next date!!

And if you can't stop on your own to call psychics, after many years, after the big crisis for which you started calling is over, then, you need help. Because addictions are not healthy habits. They steal who you are, the steal your own life. Find professional help to stop the addiction. To be empowered again of who you are, of your own life. Stop calling! NOW!

yeah, i was also told i had karmic ties with someone.

sounds like there are a handful of things she says to people: Spring/April-May (at least for now), holding pattern, rollercoaster, karmic ties..

pity..

yeah, i mean if she's giving specific predictions to each of us differently then that is something to look forward to.
i'm definitely not going to discount her just yet!

A friend of mine and I have a situation like this. A lot of the same scripted lines, but when she goes into specifics, what is said to me would not apply to my friend's situation, and vice versa. I don't know why some of these gifted readers feel the need to add fluff! She is a similar reader in that you just give a name, and she starts going.

a real pity. I think I'll just stick to my team, kisha, sapphire, uli, leo, qoc. They are not 100 percent but at least they are not going to play these games. I can't stand the games.

Yep most of these people are 'for entertainment purposes'. Just like reading a cinderella story. Your daughter asks you if cinderella was real and you say 'no' that was a fake story.

Stick with the readers that you have already and that have stood the test of time.

Am so sick of fairytales, scripts and lies.

I think I'll go to the library and check out snow white and the seven dwarfs. Its a better fairytale and its FREE.

I too got the 'roller coaster' and 'karmic connection' lines.

However, I'm still reserving judgement on her overall predictions. Granted, I didn't call about anything life changing - I'm not waiting on a new job or an ex to come back or anything like that. Things HAVE Been a roller coaster for me and as generic as that might seem, it did fit my situation.

As far as karmic connections, I've done research on this - part of a western religions class a long time ago - and I'm of the belief that many of our relationships are karmic in nature. Sometimes its good karma, sometimes its bad karma. But that's MY personal belief, not necessarily right or wrong. I can say I've learned the most from some of my worst relationships, romantic, friendship, or otherwise.

Joeana did make some very specific statements such as calling out what I do for a living and what hobby I enjoy. She also made some specific predictions, none of which will be majorly life changing if they do or don't happen.

I've made a real effort lately to truly TRULY trust my own intuition, listen to my inner guidance and that has been tremendous for me. I set aside 30 minutes a day that's solely devoted to being still and just listening to what God has to say to me. I've gotten more answers and more guidance doing that than through any phone call I've made to a reader. Again, this is MY belief system.

I will say this - if you ask for a sign, you'll get it. I could list countless examples of the times I've said 'if I'm on the right path, please show me...' and received something that told me yes, you're right. Sometimes I let the sign be presented to me however it wants to be. Other times I get specific in what I'm asking for. Just last night, after a vivid dream the night before and some time to think and process it, I prayed that if I were in the right path in this situation, show me 'this name' on 'this place.'

Lo and behold, within an hour, I happened to see the name I'd asked for in the place I'd asked for. You can't convince me that that's random.

I'm rambling, but I guess I'm just trying to say at the end of the day, trust yourself first and foremost. While Joeana or Kisha or Sapphire or whoever may be right or they may be wrong, you can trust yourself first.

@Sarahkw
I read your post yesterday and thought ok - I am going to ask for a sign also.  I was laying on my bed just asking the universe for a sign that I was on the right path.
Last night I was watching tv in my bedroom and I kept hearing something in my bathroom.  At first I thought it was my cat (he sometimes tries to get into the cabinet doors).
I walked into the bathroom and there was a red bird hitting the glass.
We have a lot of windows in our house and I have seen this happen with robins before - but during the day.
I have never seen a bird do this at night - not EVER.  It was very strange to say the least.
Thoughts anybody?
Thanks

wishful
i would first ask you - does a red bird  mean anything to YOU? take this situation out of the equation completely.
does it remind you of a time in your life, a place, a movie, etc? any connection whatsoever to a red bird?

Thanks truth:
I am thinking about this.  I think they are beautiful birds and they always catch my attention.  But I have to say, I don't have any significant connection to any bird in particular.
I just thought it was so strange.  In all of the years I have lived in this house, I have never had that happen before. He would peck on the glass and then sit on the ledge.
Like I said, I have had robins fly into the glass (always in the front of the house).
I have asked again for a sign.  Because if that was one - I am confused. Lol.

heh. i agree. confusing sign, especially if you don't have any sort of connection to it.
i know dreams are like that - our subconscious will pull people/things up in our dreams that REPRESENT something else. but it's up to us to realize what those things represent.

for instance.. 2 people  dream about teeth. let's say they are falling out or breaking.
Person A views teeth as VERY important. they have gotten braces, get their teeth whitened. it's the first thing they notice about someone.
Person B doesn't really think about teeth ever. they are functional, help you chew, necessary.

now, if Person A had this dream, it may mean they feel unattractive, or maybe like they aren't making a good impression on people.
with Person B, it may mean they aren't performing some necessary task well, or maybe something is breaking down to allow them to get something done.

the bird could have just been a wake-up call that you are on the right path by asking for signs.
here's another thought - what were you doing, thinking, watching when the bird came? did anything else catch you attention when the bird was making the noises? clearly it was getting your attention. maybe the Universe at that moment was like "heads up, this is important"

@Wishful,

I think YOU are really the only person who would know for sure if the bird is a sign for you. In my family, we always see cardinals after loved ones pass away. For instance, my stepgradfather died on Christmas Eve and the day of his funeral, my mom and stepdad were woke up by a cardinal tapping on their window. After my Papa died over the summer, three cardinals sat in the dogwood tree outside my Granny's living room from the day he passed until his funeral - we think they were my papa and his two brothers.

I've learned when I don't ask for a specific sign, I get one that *I* understand and can't be mistaken. But then I also like to ask for specific signs from time to time too.
